Natural Wool — Chitrali Traditional Handmade Waistcoat
Heritage Woven into Every Fiber
Handcrafted in the high valleys of Chitral, this traditional handmade wool waistcoat carries the warmth and wisdom of mountain life. Each piece is woven by skilled local artisans who transform 100% natural, organic sheep wool into a garment that speaks of time, patience, and heritage. From shearing and hand-spinning to weaving and finishing, every step follows age-old methods passed down through generations — a rhythm of work that honors both craft and community.
Natural Wool, Honest Warmth
Sourced ethically from free-roaming mountain sheep, the wool remains as nature intended — undyed, unbleached, and chemical-free. Its natural texture ensures breathability, moisture balance, and lasting warmth, adapting comfortably to both cold and moderate climates. Soft yet durable, it gains character with every wear, a living reminder of its handmade origins. Lightweight and warm, the waistcoat is perfect for layering through mountain winters or cool city days.
Timeless Design, Effortless Versatility
The Chitrali waistcoat has stood unchanged for centuries — a simple, functional design perfected by tradition. Its relaxed fit layers easily over both traditional attire and contemporary clothing, making it ideal for travel, meditation, or casual gatherings. The natural cream tone complements any palette, lending a touch of mountain authenticity to every wardrobe while celebrating the region’s enduring craft culture.

Care Instructions
Gently hand wash in cold water using mild, wool-safe detergent or spot clean when needed. Lay flat to dry, away from sunlight or direct heat — never wring or twist. Store in a breathable cotton bag with cedar or lavender to deter moths. Air out regularly to refresh. With mindful care, natural wool becomes softer, stronger, and more beautiful with time.
